    Can anyone out there give me the drill on importing vintage parts
    and hot rod parts from the U.S.A. into Canada.

    Not to be a wise *** but why not just go to the source and ask at the post office? Then you'd KNOW the info you're getting is correct.

    there is no duty importing parts from usa (free trade) however you have to pay pst and gst tax and depending on how you have it shipped ups rips you off for brokerage fees . postal service doesnt

    if it is sent as a gift , you won't pay a duty fee . not for sure .
