just picked up rj #23. all i can say is it's great. if your into vintage hot rods, it's a must. tons of real photos and history. awsome streamliner story, #990.
Got mine the other day at the book store. 21 bucks that hurt (better renew ) its a good one except I dont like the three cars all lumped together. its like somethings missing or its to much like street rodder. the drylake stuff is killer and edsels speedster thing what a find.
Issue 23 is good but Issue 24 is totally bitchin! I got a early copy at SEMA and I must say I am extremely impressed with the long awaited (my choice) article on the comparison of the Pierson and SO-CAL coupes and very good article on Stu Hilborn.
At SEMA - early Nov. Apparently it is a pre production copy though you wouldnt really know. I was very fortunate as it was given to me.
Mid-Missouri guys. Where can I find it around here? Barnes and Noble says they don't carry it anymore.
#23 is good with some great vintage pics, and some great pics of a 32 RPU I had seen on the net. But the detailed pics of the Pierson and SO-CAL coupes in #24 are outstanding TRJ is just a great publication, I really don't know why it took me so long to subscribe to it.
TRJ 24 owners (had mine about 3 weeks): Am I the only one that noticed the SERIOUS spelling error? Of course, maybe Alex Xydias was IMPOTENT....????
23 was o.k 24 rules..... lee pratts 58 chevy is awsome......i was surprised it took so long for someone to feature it ........21 bucks????? yeah i only pay 13 for mine too .....i think you are getting ripped......
I went to five local bookstores, they either dont carry it or the copys that they do have look like two dogs fought over them.
