For me the cl***ifieds are what originally brought me to this forum, but the way they are set up now makes it difficult to really find what I'm looking for. I have been frequenting The Samba (www.thesamba.com) for a long time now, and they have an excellent cl***ifieds section. The search function is fantastic! Everett, who runs The Samba, (and is a very nice guy) would probably be happy to dish out any secrets on how he has made his cl***ified more and more detailed, but kept the maintenance way down. Just my 2 cents!
This is not a place for VW stuff, and that site is not a place for trad rods/customs. What say we part our ways and never meet again? LOL

Plus, you are talking about one make of car, we could break it down into year blocks but too many different makes changed while others didn't. You may find a LITTLE resistance here to pattern anything after what another board does or doesn't do. If people would just say what they are selling or wanting in the ***LE, it would be much simpler to navigate. It is much better than it was. RASHY </font>
A lot of folks here have VW's in their past.........I know I do .....and know that some others do too..... <font color="red"> But the HAMB is somewhat like the military in this aspect about VW's... <font color="green"> </font> Don't ask...DON'T TELL...... </font>
It must be a sore subject because I wasn't advocating we all go buy VWs! I was just reference a board that has some good organization and it just happened to be a VW board! Relax! Be careful how bad you talk about those VWs...you might be at a stoplight next to my '58 some day.
