I feel the need for some blue, time to update this thread again.

Here's a couple I shot myself, I don't think I've posted them in this thread yet.

Clarence came home from the painter's yesterday. Washington Blue paint code is from here. Ignore the green microfiber cloths sticking out to keep from rubbing paint; no rubber yet. Tom (the painter) says "no more panel trucks." He spent over 660 hours on prep/paint. It's flawless though. If any of you Midwesterners need a body man/painter message me and I'll give you his contact information. He made it perfect enough to accept this utterly dark paint.

Thanx. It looks even better than I had hoped for. Tom is THE MAN.

Thanx. I last drove it 4 years ago. It needs wiring, glass, and upholstery. Then I get to drive it again. And not just on and off the trailer. Would be nice to have it on the road this fall. Maybe or maybe not. We'll see. Maybe Quincy color run but probably not before.

I love dark blue. GM has one called Nocturn Blue; almost black.

Ryno (on here) will be wiring it and reinstalling many items which he had previously installed and then removed during paint.

I also realize I never posted a pic of Clarence with lighting, glass, etc. installed. Paint is Washington Blue, Ford code M1747.

At Spencer, MO. That's virgin untouched original concrete paving on US-66 in the foreground (obviously it was raining that day).

My daughter in her driveway. She'll inherit it when I die. She first requested that over 25 years ago when she was in high school and I let her drive it to Rock Bridge High School a few times.

At a Jefferson City steak house parking lot in early 2024. The first actual drive after completion. About 30 miles each way.
