Jumping into the deep end in more ways than one: 1. Finally breaking my long time lurker status. 2. Bought a '57 Buick Century last week in Southern CA. 3. Now I need to sell my '52 Buick Super to obey the '1 car rule' imposed by SWMBO. 4. Have no idea how I'm going to get the 'new' 57 back home. Anyway, glad to be here. I've kept the '52 mostly stock because it was too original to mess with, but I'm looking forward to some nice custom touches and updates on the '57. It's also stock so far but WTF, it's mine now, right? I'll probably focus on dressing up the stock 364 nailhead and adding some period details - maybe some finned Offy covers, etc. That and chasing all the rechroming should keep me busy for years!
Lots of HAMBers in the Atl area. There's a HAMB-n-Grits breakfast twice a month in Roswell, and the Lake Lanier swap in Braselton is worth checking out. See ya at Dixie Fried.

I'm embarrassed to say I've never made it Dixie Fried, but you can be sure I'll make it this year. The Starlight is only a few miles from my house!
