Hot Rods "In-Bomber" '57 Chevy progress pics!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by HotRod28AR, Oct 6, 2009.

  1. It came back to our shop today and I started putting stickers back on it! Charlie "The One Arm Bandit" will be coming up in a few weeks to start the lettering... In the meantime I will be working on brakes and lines, fuel tank and lines, lights, more painting and the wheels/tires.

Looking very nice, will you be able to do a video of it running, Henry.

  12. Thanks guys

Absolutely. Once it's done we're going to make a nice video of the car running and maybe even making a p***. The goal is to have the car completed for the 2010 York Nostalgia Reunion in July. We would like to somehow have it on display at the '10 NHRA Indy Nationals as well though I don't really know who to contact on that one...

    Nice, real nice!

  17. More progress... the tires are original NOS from the late 60's. Fronts are Firestone Drag 8.45/15 and the rears are 14" Mickey Thompson Challenger 7" wide stock/super stock cheater slicks. Front seat is all done and coming home tomorrow, and this weekend I'm touching up some last spots on the undercarriage so I can start on the fuel system and shocks next week. Also found a old replacement front bumper center section since ours is rusted pretty bad.
