I have 1953 chevy half ton pickup that hasn't been registered for 18 years. I haven't driven it for 18 years either. I been working on it doing minor things. new upholstery, new glass, new weatherstripping and window rubber, rochester rebuild, Muncie SM420 rebuild, 12Volt agm interstate battery, Complete rewire and I'm just about done with installing all new brakelines, wheel cylinders, spring kits and shoes, and a new walnut and poplar bed with all stainless hardware. 5 brand new tires. little shit. Now i can't find the owners certificate. I traded the truck for a volkswagon with no engine back in 1980. I'm the 2nd owner and it has 517,000 miles. Of which, I have been responsible for 406,000 miles of rust and dust. What do you all think it is gonna cost me to screw myself with a certificate of title? DMV gonna make me write bad checks or what?
