Hi I picked up a 52 Customline with a bad 215 I want to swap it out with a 54 223 out of a truck. The 223 doesn't have the bosses on the block like the 215 does. Anybody have first hand knowledge about installing a 223 in a 52 car? I've seen a set of triangle looking brackets that look like they mount to the engine but they seem to mount where the exhaust is so I'm not sure they will work. I'd like to keep the 6 and build it. Any help would be appreciated.

You can fake it with front truck mounts (the side by side, not the hoop of the car) and the normal trans mount,, we had it that way in our Brew 102 that ran for many years, and yes the stock mounts for a car 223 are hard to find, I have a set, and like you said it seems to might interfere,, but I think with the single stock exhaust they clear,,,
