digging around my pile and found this. i'm guessing it's big truck because of the governor, but does it have any use as a regular car carb? remove the governor and what do I have? use it on a flathead? thanks for any info, Mike.
As easy (and cheaply) as you can find a Holley 94 that DOESN'T have a governor on it, I wouldn't waste my time with that thing.
I think the "1" cast into the carb body is the throttle bore size, regular 94's are 15/16", soooo. That being said, there are even larger automotive Holley 3 bolt carbs that would be much better choices.
I’ve got a whole box full of regular 94’s that I’m taking to swap meets and selling for $20 each. And getting kits is easy. Why complicate the issue with an unknown carb when the common ones are readily available and cheap?
I.H.C. with a 361 CID. Useful as: (A) a carburetor for an IHC 361, (B) a door stop, (C) an anchor on a trot line. (D) ??? Jon
