Info on a early pickup box

    Picked up this early pickup box was thinking model T ,Its sitting on a welded up Essex front axle any info good or bad appreciated

    I can tell you it's not a Model T...don't have a clue as to what it fits though.

    I no the quality of the pics are not the best . The front axle is Essex i guess more than likely the box is to thanks

    It may be a big truck box from a Model T. Ford made a variety of different size trucks and boxes for many applications. Your box has a Ford-ish look to the stake pockets, stiffening ribs, and the front panel.

    The overall box looks Ford Like, the side beads are wrong. It may be an early T box. The 26-27 had a raised area where the fender mounts and on offset front stake pocket. I've seen pictures of 25 or so T's with a forward pocket and the fenders mount separate from the box.
