looking for info on a 40 chev grill for a buddy , has the one in his coupe is one someone painted. as he has a chance to get a chrome one like new ? but it is from a 41 chevy are they the same an will it fit the 40?? thank all who read this ..
Looking at the two photos Jim posted you can see that while the grills look a lot alike there are differences that cause them to not be interchangeable. A lot more than I would have ever thought too. Plus the hoods are different at the front.
the entire car is quite different, even though they look kind of the same. They made major changes to the way the cars were built in 1941.
