info wanted on 6cyl chevy...

i figure the best way to find out about this is to ask...i admit, i dont know much about the engine, but i sure like it! i have a 64 chevy 3/4 ton project truck im playing with, it has a 6 cyl engine (probably original) vin calls for "140 hp 1bbl", this seems to match, but how many cu in? is there much avail for dress up (prefer aluminum over chrome)? are there any parts easily found for performance( other than the replacement v8....lol )? any neat stories about the motor?(who knows???)

 

It's a 230. Lots of speed equipment available, both new and used.

 

anyone got a finned aluminum valve cover or go fast parts for this motor???
