Projects Inline 6 Bell Housing to 272 Y-block

I need a new bell housing for my 57 F100. I came across a bell off a 1959 Mercury truck with an inline 6. Will this bell work in my Y block?

 

I don't believe the y block and straight 6 bell housings are the same but someone else will know better.

 

No the 223 six bellhousing will not fit a 272 ,292 or 312 Y block. You can use a Y block flywheel on a 223 or 262 six. and vise versa.
