I just picked up a 250" 6/Powerglide for my 31 Chevy. Unique, a Chevy in a Chevy. Anyone out there done a similar implant? I have a trany mount that works good, but wonderin' about engine mounts.
    Any help?
    Thanks

  3. I had a customer Len Collins who had me do a six for his 39 Chev coupe. He used it to replace a V8. He says he now get rubber in all three gears (350 turbo trans) and better gas mileage to boot. He sometimes tales the car to Florida with him. Anyway he s happy so I am happy.

  4. Chassis Engineering sells simple mounts. Frame side comes in different lengths, you pick what fits your frame.

Cross member from a 60's Chevy van Cut it to fit or bolt it under. Either way works well plus help stiffen up the frame.
