I know there were some BIG inline 6 firetrucks back in the day. I found an aluminum intake manifold stamped "GM 477, 426, 361" on the underside. It has 2 Zenith 20-12 carbs. Ever seen one?

Yes.......had one for a couple of years......when I originally got it, I thought it would fit a GMC 302 that I was hoping to build. It was WAY too big......some big GMC gas inlines were built for dump trucks, semi's etc. besides just fire trucks. Most, however, were diesel equipped. Ellis built intakes for lots of big trucks including International and others.

I think it's an Ellis 2X2 manifold that's on a Red Diamond 450 in a '47 KB8 'Binder setting in the woods. I'll see if I can get a photo of the pack rats haven't covered it up
