ive been working on my 55 olds inner doors or fighting with them is a better word i guess. they are pretty rusted out . cant find a place that sells replacements. just wondered how you guys rebuild or replace them? i thought i might get a 55 chevy replacement and make it fit but all i could find were for 2 doors and mines a 4 door and they were pricey. i dont have many sheet metal tools like a brake or things of that nature just hand tools and a welder. any help is appreciated.

Usually 4 door doors are not real expensive. Look at Cadillacs and Buicks too, the insides of the doors are probably the same, and probably for a few years, I think 54-56 are the same body.

If you provide some pictures of what you're up against, maybe someone would have some suggestions?
