Inner rear fender braces 49 AD

I need to change the inner fender braces on my 1949 chevy truck. Has anybody done this with any success? I have 6.50-16s and when I put it on the ground it pushes up the rear fenders up. I only need the extra space the braces take up to clear!
All help will be appreciated. Thanks

Nobody has had this problem? I going to try 1/4 steel bar stock and bend it around like an oval. Have it touch at the same points. I'll let you know.

 

I think you answered your own question, time for fabrication.
