input needed. 50 chevy ass end help!!

    so i need to change to a diffrent back bumber on the cheby! does any one have any ideas. im going to be running a 57 chevy front bumber with a 52 f1 grill. so i kinda would like sumtin a little off the wall and beafy so i can drag it around these michigan roads with out it wearing thin. heres a pic of the *** end to get the ball rolling. o and if u have a bumber u think would look nice send me a pm i may want to buy it!!     A refined version of the stocker.One drawn in tighter,to body.Shave bolt's.Slight recess for center mounted tag.Try thicker steel w/a couple 'tab's of ***anium on the bottom of bumper to spark controversy.

    I always thought a front bumber of a 55 chev would match the contours of the rear end nicley. Dump the rear pan and tuck the bumper in close.
     
  4. I used a 56 front bumper on my 51 with slightly extended rear wings and 54 Merc tail lights it looked cool...
    I will try and sort some pics out for you.

    I used a 50 poncho rear bumper on mine. It follows the contour of a 50 chevy so no gravel pan is needed and they're one piece. gotta take a 3" section out of each end because the pontiac had a relief in the 1/4 panel about 3 inches longer than a chevy.
    I welded part of a 50 chevy front accessory bar to the top of mine to make it a little different..
