I'm not worried at all...thats my point.
But there are 2-1/2 pages before this of people who obviously are!!!!

The list you put up is interesting but really said nothing about PIPE...just TUBE of various strengths. Theres no way to compare the two from that info...

Heres an interesting link with lots of bitching, misinformation and toward the end some cold hard facts. Those guys are as bad as us!!!! LOL

Basicly...pipe isn't so bad (DOM still has the edge, ERW and the right spec pipe are neck and neck.)...it compares favorably to DOM and ERW IF you choose the right spec pipe.
Lowes etc isn't the place to buy it.
Better to get 20' sticks from a steel supplier so you can verify the spec thru the markings on the pipe.

Pipe whose marking ends in "F" is offshore and very suspect. Stay far away from that stuff.....

It's all in the link...and those guys are supplying their own Popcorn! Hahaha

I'm going to muddy the waters here...
In the oilfields 2.5 and 3" pipe from well casings are named 2.5" and 3" structural because they are pipe and they are structural.
