    Hello,

I am not sure if you would be able/willing to help me out.

I am looking for information about a car my Great Grandfather had purchased. I have attached pictures of it. I believe it was a modified Model T. My Great Grandfather’s name was Casper Gesme. Casper was a farmer near Cannon Falls, MN. Casper bought the car, “Just for Fun,” which was basically his life moto. Casper was a jokester and always looking for a new way to laugh and have fun. After he purchased the car he had it painted checkered as you can see in the pictures, his reasoning was that no one else had it like that. After painting the car, the painter said he would never agree to doing that again since it was so tedious and took so long. Unfortunately no one in the family knows what happened to the car, or many details.

I now have a son who is named Casper(Named after my Great Grandfather) as well. I think it would be a fun project to re-create this car, and possibly use as much original parts as possible. In-order to do this, I am attempting to gather information on it.

I am pretty certain these photos were taken before the 1930’s because my grandmother didn’t think she was born yet, and she was born in 1927. From what I've looked into I would estimate the car to be from around 1917-1920.

Any information/help would be appreciated thanks!

Man, that's the ugliest, coolest paint job ever!:D I hope you find it and recreate it. Good luck.
