great thank you ... can you tell me where to buy these books,
I'll check exactly which rubber parts I still need ...
I have made a few pictures where you can see the different washers, I assume that these come in the pictured bushing ... but in what order and which exactly.on the picture it is only shown as a total unit.

Another thought: Make sure the kit you have is made for a 1949-51 Mercry.
TAKE PHOTOS BEFORE YOU TAKE ANYTHING APART.
As for those washers (shims), you may find that you don't need to use any. I didn't use any when I rebuilt my 51 merc suspension years ago.
