   Hi,
   
   I'm building a 28 Model A RPU out of a CCPU. I extended the cab 8 inches for more room and I've shaved the doors and have installed Bear Claws from Speedway in them. Is there an "easy" way to mount the striker pin in the wooden door post without too much modification?

   Cut the head off a bolt and weld it to the pin then just drill a hole and back it with a large washer.
