installing wrist pin

    Im installing the wrist pin but didn`t heat the rod up enough.

    The pin stopped with a 1/4 inch left to go. When the setup cools down can i press the pin in the rest of the way or do I have to remove the pin and start over?

    Yes you can press it the rest of the way. Be sure to support the piston by the pin boss only and use a nice square ended push tool. Sucks when that happens don't it ?
