I found the Alliance page I was looking for and I noticed that...(You have insufficient privileges to reply here.).... is that because everything is closed or am I no longer an alliance member?
It was never really a place for the members to post, just a place for Ryan to post discount codes and special links, so that he could inform the Alliance of special deals. The threads were open for a little while, but it's been years now.
I have insufficient privelige to look at the Tri 5 Buick forum. I can't access a thread that someone is trying to show me because it says I don't have permission. This is the thread. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/1955-buick-special-brake-and-suspension-makeover.892501/ What's up with that?
@rockable i suspect you have to join the social group where the thread is posted in order to view it.
How do you do that? I was invited to view a thread by a member but I don't know that I want to "join" the group. Can I join and unjoin? I've never done social groups before.
if you visit the main page for the group, there is a ****on to click to join. joining the group doesn't mean you have to participate in any way, it just allows you to view the threads in that group. and you can certainly leave the group at any time. @rockable
Ok. I've got it now but it still makes no sense to me that you have to "join" before you can view the threads. As Woody Allen once said, "I'd never join a club that would have a person like me as a member."
Alright... Well I was trying to ask on there for the Coker tire discount code... since for some reason Coker is left off of the list...
