Redoing the inside of my 54 and stuck on fightin the headliner insulation its caked on looks like stuck 50 yr old brownie ! Got s****ers but barely took anything off started using angle grinder with wire disk seems to make a **** stain smudge ! Anyone have any advice or wisdom on how to get this tihs off !??? Ha Ha! Totally been there. You need: several CD's, 6 of coldies, safety gl***es, metal s****er. Hint: keep the s****er clean...... cuts better. Have fun.
My 40 Ford is the same way, the stuff is on there to stay. If it's on there good and strong leave it. It's still working and only needs to be added to to get the level of insulation you want. In this case the old saying is true "if it ain't broke don't fix it (or change it).
