Well, that makes me feel a lot better, and maybe for the 2.5 years untill Im 25, it may be worth insuring the car for stated value (but its pricey!). I have reciepts for everything I have purchased, and the labor on the top chop. I guess an apraisle on the value of the car prior to the work (I paid cash for the car, no reciept) wouldnt hurt either.
I only have liability on my '55. Yeah, I could get in a wreck and total it and be out what I've got into it, but thats the risk you run with liability. I don't have that much into it anyway(yet...). For the time being, it works fine for me. Minor fender benders I can fix myself, and wouldn't trust a shop to do it right anyway. Later in life, when I'm more financially stable, I'll have more invested in the car, but I'll also be able to afford the higher cost insurance.
Insure At Least 2 -3 Cars If You Can Swing It At A Time ... They Will Love You For Being Such A Good Customer And Realize You Can't Possibly Drive More Than One At A Time .. Get Married Live Close To Your Work They Want Your Most Expensive Car As First Insured... Tell Them Thats Not The One You Drive The Most Cuz Its Preciciuos And You Add Up Miles On The Middle Priced Econo Box Car .. To And From Work State Annual Milage On Each Summer Car / Winter Car And Your Cl***ic Occaisional Cruzer.. Good Luck But Have Some Kind Even Short Term If Needed Paperdog
