I live with my GF and she just bought a new place but it does not have a garage. It does have a huge oversized carport that we may close in eventually. What are my options for classic insurance? I have had Hagerty for years. In Phoenix, I know a lot of guys with cars that dont have a garage.

liability only, on a normal auto insurance policy, is one option.

I have Grundy and they required pictures of the garage where my car is kept. They want to know that it is as protected as possible from theft, so they want it in a locked, secure garage.

Interesting, I also have had Grundy for years and they have never even asked for pictures of the cars much less the garage. They do however state the car must be stored in a locked garage on my policies.

I had to take pictures of my car from every angle and also one shot of it inside the garage. Guess it depends on who you get at Grundy.

My dad uses Hagerty for his cars, and they are only in a carport, but its in the rear of the house. They new they weren't garaged and asked for pictures of the carport. IMG_0758.jpg
