OK, since you guys did you well with the last part I needed help with, this should be cake. What engine are these logs for? They have no numbers on them, but say offenhauser and olds on it. I wanna say a olds rocket engine, but I mostly look at Ford stuff, so I'm not really sure. I will be selling them, and don't want to mis-represent what they are.

Also, any ideas what a fair asking price would be?

    Thanks,
    Brian

They look like the taller ports, so 54-58 Olds 324/371. You'll need a water cross over/thermo housing to use those, and those are not cheap.

Value, I can't say. Try completed auctions for ebay through google maybe. Google might go father back in time for completed ebay auctions, but I'm not sure.

Hard to say what you can get out of them but I will say that thye rarely pop up for sale so you can corner the market with them.

For a chuckle, in case you missed it on another recent 6 x 2 thread:

I guess if you are reading this thread you are interested in 6 x 2 intakes and I would like to slightly hijack this thread to tell my "Well Kick Me Square In The **** For Being Such A Dummy" story:

Years ago when I moved to a new neighborhood I noticed an A sedan behind my neighbors house. It was beat but it had an Olds V8 with a six-deuce intake w/ five 8BA carbs on it. Long story short - I bought the sedan and junked the Olds V8. I tripped over the intake in my garage for a few years until one day we got invited to a party where everybody had to bring a "gag" gift. You guessed it - I took the six-deuce intake with the five carbs into the party and left it.

    Stoopid stoopid stoopid.

Lol, I'd hang em on the wall before I just left it somewhere. I also have 6 holley 94's, I was going to use three of them for a edelbrock 3x2 intake for my 56 farilane, but maybe it would be worth it to refurb them and put them on these, thoughts?

Just a quick bump, looking for input on approx value. No offy's on ebay, not sure how close or far the value is to other brands of 6x2's.

i sold a weiand dragstar for an olds on here about 5-6 years ago for around $250. nobody wanted to pay the $300 asking price. it seems like 6x2's for early olds were more popular than any other engines at the time.
