Okay, which one is that? I have a couple Y Block 4 barrel manifolds but they are the early small bolt pattern that were used with the 55-56 tea pot. Have ran them with an adapter for later 4 barrel Holley/Edelbrock style. IMG_0494.JPG IMG_0494.JPG

That’s the A manifold, the B is for the larger base in 57’ up. I’m looking for the B manifold

    Thanks for checking

Blue Thunder and John Mummert sell aluminum ones if you wish to step with some extra money.. The BT has a heat crossover.

I have a B manifold with a rebuilt '57 Autolite 4100 carb with air cleaner. Very low miles on the carb. I went back to the original carb and A manifold on my '56 thinking there was a issue with the manifold. Turned out to be simpler issue and unrelated to it.
I think you could probably get a Blue Thunder or John Mummert aluminum manifold for less than what I'd want for the set though.

Exactly why my 55 has a 302 now, I don't have that much (6's) in the entire engine including the used Eldelbrock manifold, carburetor, and headers.

***ume you mean $600's? That's nuts! Glad I have a couple already or I would have to end up with an aluminum intake I suppose.

Name of the game today I’m sorry to say. To me the look of a Blue Thunder on a Y makes it for a 4-barrel. I’m a heat crossover guy and it has the high rise look I wish would have been available in the late 50’s up thru the 70’s. I’d be using mine if I ever dump the dual quads which would be hard to do.
