I know you asked about the 28-29 ones earlier. The repo's are pretty much the same fit. Meaning ... they really don't unless you tool them a lot. Still interested in your thoughts about reproducing these years. I talked again with a shop about the dies for curved roof panels and am also looking into these pieces being reproduced.

Thanks for the update - I hope your step dad is okay. I know I don't know what I would do without mine.

Thanks alot man, I don't know what I would either? We lost my dad about 5 years ago when I was 18. They were married for 25 years and it was absolutely devastating for us. She met Tom a few years ago, he has been a major blessing and a huge believer in what I'm doing. It was scary to think of the possibility of going through all that again so soon. Two surgeries and A few more weeks of radiation and he should be in the clear. Thanks for your kind words brother!

    **UPDATE**

Here's the latest on the adventure of making patch panels. Since last time we were finishing up all the manual machine work that i could do before handing them back over to CNC. I managed to get both dies ground true, sub-plates build for both dies and fixed the screwed up die. I seems it was a weird scaling problem from solidworks 3d file to the CAM file the waterjet uses. I'm still not sure how it happened, and all that matters is were back on the road, but I would just like to yell at whoever did it just once! Anyway, were back to the CNC and waiting for the call to come get them. Once we have them in our hands were going to get right to stamping. Ill try and get some pictures of the die on the 5 axis CNC mill soon.

Well Will, I had to move on with available corners from Howells. Although I was not happy with the fit, I couldn't wait any longer, so I won't be needing any at least anytime in the near future. I wish you luck with such an ambitious project, but maybe an update on the progress would be in order....

With a little encouragement and patience you can get the Howell's Panels to work just have to cut them up a little.
