Hot Rods interest in a 65 fairlane gasser?

A friend has bought a 65 fairlane, 2 dr ht. It has org paint, yellow/white, v/8 ,auto,all good gl***. drivers floor needs to be repaired, has one of the strut rod supports rotted out,some rust in the drivers door at the ft edge,and some in the drivers behind the wheel 1/4. bumpers are there,but need rechrome. only 1 yr for this fairlane. He said he would take some pics and fwd them to me. its ugly but would make a good g***er,or a f/x car.let me hear your opinions. jim

 

Because 65s are ugly , it would need to be cheap..
