and it has gl***...maybe that's where the extra $7k in the price comes from?

That car has potential, but he's dreamin' on that price. But, seems like 80% of prices these days are unrealistic, maybe I'm the one that's out of touch.

  6. Price is crazy. But if it had some kind of history or pedigree it’d be a little different

I totally agree with history adding value, but in the next moment it strikes me as a bit silly that if a pic of this car is found in an old publication and we find out it was built by Jebediah Scamotts of Chicken Beak, Nebraska in 1954 the price skyrockets... But what do I know?

looks kinda like the 2 custom chevies that Barris built for the movie high school confidential, except this car has fadeaways and an Olds grille . kinda weird that they left the drip rail over the area where the quarter window was filled in.... the price is about 10 grand too high, but ....

Yea, it could be kool, but the price is definitely crazy. And, I struggle some with losing the quarter windows on those coupes when they are chopped. Even if the windows are worthless, that sail panel ends up huge when they are gone.

  12. Yep.
    Some look ok. Some don’t.
    I don’t hate this one.
I’d like to see a drawing with the door stretched a tad and the rear edge of the door frame nor radiused

Doesn't look old to me...looks like old pieces were welded on sort of recently.

  15. VERY cool Kustom. But, the price would have to be lower (unless it has proven history) AND it would need to include the Jimmy with intake.

That Chevy is jumping on the Jimmy Summers styling wave popular right now because of the restored 36 Ford at the recent AMBR Show. Hoping for a big sale because of the swept fenders.

  24. The hood tops hanging on the doors looks like it’s been added.
I’m kinda curious about the rest of it though.

Yeah. But it's got that power glide 3.55 rear end!

  26. Yea. Worded strange. I hope it’s referring to the rear from a glide car

That part of it is clear to me, that it's a 3.55 ratio rear from a powerglide car.

I like it, I'm a fan of filled 1/4 windows...blindspots...comes with the territory and it's heading in the right direction...it does say OBO...so anything goes price wise...it was a great period for GM with intermingling of brands quite complimentary...I hope it ends up a build here...
