To keep the broken record thing going, Caddy.

However, I'd offer the kids the truck if they can buy it. You purchased it back from your son, and you've said yourself that it is just sitting in the barn wasting away. If they can't buy it back, then I'd tell them you're going to trade it for the Caddy since it's what YOU like and you'll have it from now on.

The only issue I see is if the one son thought it was going to be used as collateral for a loan. But, it sounds as if you purchased it outright to help him out. Chances are you paid above market value for it as well from your son.

I can't believe you would actually consider trading a family heirloom for an old worthless Cadillac! Family should always come first! Keep your truck and make your son proud.

By the way, can you PM the contact info for your buddy with the caddy?? ;)

Im working on a deal now to get both. I have two 71 4x4s, one a K10 and one a K20. I might trade them both off. Ive never taken either off road...I just like em, so it wont be a huge loss not having 4 wheel drive capability. Thanks for all the insights...Ill post better pics of both if the deals work out.

Take the Cadillac, nothing oozes style and taste as much as the early Caddy's. You'll kick yourself if you pass being able to drive this every day.

I worked the deal with my friend today. Im now the owner of a 41 Caddy. That black one is very nice, I really love black cars. Here are a couple of more pics...I think Ill need a new steering wheel...Thats a Chevy truck tilt column, should be easy enough to find a nice wheel.

When I get around to working on it Ill post some sort of build thread. Need to finish up my panel first. Its O/T but Ill post a couple of pics of it...avert your eyes if need be..lol.
