Not sure if this is the correct place to post this but I'm sure I'll hear about it if it isn't. A fellow I know of in Florida has a Studebaker V-8 he took out of a 51 Commander he is building and now has it for sale. He says "Since I decided to go with all late model Chevy drive-train, I have a perfectly good '51 Studebaker Commander V8 engine, overdrive manual transmission (with new clutch), and rear end (4.56 gears). All are in good working order. Anyone interrested in a good deal on any of these items, please e-mail me at posttrib@tampabay.rr.com. They must be picked up in Tampa, Florida. I have no idea. I never asked him what he was asking for it. I just thought someone on here might be looking for something different to run in their hot rod and he has the complete drive train. You can contact him (Tim) by clicking on his E-mail address in my original post.
Just wondering if anyone ever found out how much he was asking. Also, how can this post be transferred to the HAMB Classified section?
