Note the announcment on the mag cover. Valley custom styles a STREET ROD. According to some here that must mean these guys are early gold chainers even though the car is flattie powered and traditional. It's certainly from a time before a lot of those who proclaim to know all about how a traditional car should look were even born.

Do you have any more shots of this car? Think it might be Ron Vaughns car. With a BCCCA plaque, its from my neck of the woods, so I am very interested.

 

According to the article in the January 1955 issue of Rod & Custom it belonged to Cal Morrow from Vancouver B.C.
It was channeled 7 inches and ran an Oldsmobile engine.
