Just saw this old hot rod on Marketplace. $6900 in near the WI/IL border.

Yes. You are missing proximity. It’s a long haul for you. But at 4.5 hours away, I’m considering how divorced would I be if I went and got it. It looks great, of course there are no interior shots so might be a mouse house inside. And it doesn’t say why it was originally parked. But still very tempting.

 

that coupe is still available--the person who was coming to look bailed--someone close go look/call?

Ha! Agreed Doug. This would make for a great sleeper. Pretty darn solid looking too. I noticed it was given a "rattle-can" rebuild to help with the sale. Too bad I sold my brothers 1970 Hemi (fresh complete engine with dyno report).

 

They used the wrong color. It’ll never run right.

You would have to want a 55 Tbird real bad to tackle that one.I bet the trailer axle is part of whats holding it up,looks to be a dandy parts car if you had one,cant buy much parts for 500 bucks.
