That Hillman reminds me of one I really wanted to save out of a wrecking yard back when
I was a teen. My dad talked me out of the starry eyed dream with "What do you want to do and how much is it going to cost and how much do you earn right now"... I would have torn it apart and never finished it. Thanks, dad, but it would have been cool.

Rod, your dad must have been pretty well trained in the art of reasoning.

My dad would have ask me where I thought I was going to do all the work the pile of junk needed, because I sure wasn't doing it at his house.

With my son, it was "Your time and your money. If you are there working on it, I will help you."

He got me my first motorcycle at 9. He owned over 30 different motorcycles (each a different brand except 2) had a jag when I was born, had British sports cars when I was young, restored a 62 Alpine (couldn't afford a Tiger, they appreciated just beyond his grasp) when I was in my late teens. We went to all sorts of racing when I was a kid, GNRS, Paso, CHRR and others when I was older.

I miss him. That's him getting something out of his Ford at CHRR.
I asked him to park next to the Plymouth because I have one I still need to finish.

For what's there, it seems a reasonable price:

Pictures show a poly. It also says runs & drives. It's a good start for a classic ride, even if it's not a popular body style.

"NO TRADES,NO LOW BALL PRICES OR STUPID QUESTIONS. Car runs and drives, fresh engine and fuel system, great car to restore or drive as is,I have extra parts including a windshield and rocker pannels, need to get rid of I have to many projects, price is negotiable but not much, does need some brake work, has a record radiator, decent tires, has decent exhaust ,engine is a 331 Holly 2 barrel,2 speed powerflight Trans, pick up only in elyria ohio"

Windsors, being the lowest trim line, were usually polys (which ain't a bad thing in itself).

^. if you're wondering about the “Chevrolet Silverado, etc” it's probably FB's way of categorizing or describing a vehicle . FB staff doesn’t know sh*t about cars

I think it's as much the person posting the Belair for sale doesn't know shit about cars and looking at the post, they don't know shit about the car or care about the car they just want it sold and gone
