I'd have to talk myself out of the Austin, if it were near me. If it were a panel, I probably wouldn't be able to talk myself out of it.



It's interesting that they all seem to have the same paint scheme. I really like the gray and orange one, except I don't care for the orange visor.

 

Crew cab? It's okay to say 4-door.

Absolutely! A friend had one of these (Austin A35) in the 60's when we were in high school and although his was stock, it was such a neat car and screamed to be rodded in some form. It was a perfect platform to me.

 

the chopped '35 5 window seems like a steal, even if the roof needs to be reworked some. It at least had a windshield in it at one time.

 

With a purpose built tow bar, maybe a drag car at one time?

 

Was wondering about that. This car certainly has some history and someone is going to get a good deal, I hope they know what to do with it.
Wonder if there’s anything under the hood.

1941 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Sedan with Trunk.
I was going to hot rod this two door sedan, but we moved and space limitations are forcing me to sell.
No motor, the old six was seized and not salvageable. The original trans is there along with everything behind it. I have the radiator and bell housing too.
Front fenders and hood are not currently bolted on after I pulled the engine. Hood is in good shape. Fenders have some dings that could be worked out. Some rust damage where the fender welting attaches. There’s some whiskey damage on the passenger side lower door and rocker . See photo. I have a patch panel for the door and a set of replacement rockers. Most of the trunk is rusted away, you’ll need to get a replacement from Chevs of the 40s . I have a good replacement rear passenger fender too.
Inside is original stuff. Surprisingly the mouse smell ain’t too bad.
Glass is all there. I have an extra vent window glass for the one with cracks.
The front suspension is just loosely bolted in place. I was working on a Mustang II swap, but I don’t have those parts.
I have a bunch of good stainless parts. Some other odds and ends included. This is a good project car for someone. Could be back to original, hot rod, custom, bomb, or lowrider.
