I haven't advertised my 1953 Chrysler Newport 2dr ht yet but will soon. No engine or transmission, needs everything.

    But the floors are solid.
It's from Colorado, so almost no rust. Pretty straight too.

The left rear looks like it needs a lot of work, You would have to inspect in person.

In 1959 I turned 14 while my dad & I were moving all our worldly good from Texas to California in a very much overloaded Dodge like this pulling the biggest U-Haul they had. Lots tied on the sides and my Cushman tied across the tongue. Later that summer my mom came along in a '57 Dodge with a Red Ram v8 & three on the tree. It was pretty quick for its size. Memory lane for me here today! Thanks.

That’s a great deal. Momma is lucky we don’t live closer. I can see that with a nice Hemi. It looks like it’s already well on its way to being a great piece.

IDK if the guy lives in or near Hooper, but the phone number is in Arizona.
If that number doesn't work, try 402 prefix

Wow, that 40 Plymouth hurts. I've got a long stalled project that's got more than double that in it.
It doesn't have a ford in it though...

Not near enough info to get me interested in it at that price. The differing shades of gray primmer across the side of the car and at the bottom where they tend to rust out brings questions concerning a possible rust issue. Is there uneven metal or bondo under that very bottom shade of gray primmer? With the "good V8 motor and AT" being a Ford motor and unknown, assumed Ford transmission creates too many questions concerning what other parts have been installed on the car. The tow out on the drivers side front end picture creates a lot more questions about the suspension/chassis. The phone number is good, but he could have included a lot more info up front about a lot of things.

I see ads that are too good to be true. A 1957 Chevy for $1,800.
    Bullshit.
    What's the purpose?
Some of them insist that you make a phone call.
Is that part of the scam?

1953 Ford Coupe, 2 Door. Project Car. Lots of Extra Parts. Engine and trans are out. Engine is disassembled. Flathead V8. Interior is out as well. Should be reasonably complete. Body is still together, and I think all trim is there.

Bad stuff: brother started cutting out rusted floor boards. He also cut out frame rail under passenger door. See pictures for idea of what it is.

No option for Coupe on CL, listed as Mustang, but of course it's not a Mustang.

Send a name and number or I may not respond. Ask a question about something in the ad, I get too many spam emails

$2700 Best Offer. Clean Title in hand.

This is a 1949 Plymouth Deluxe 2 door coupe in a rare fastback model (P17). We were daily driving this car with a Ford 200 6 and C4 transmission, unfortunately the block developed a crack. It still has the original ribbed bumpers which are exclusive to 1949.

Engine and transmission have been removed - you have a clean slate!

DIFFERENTIAL - 1962 Chevy II with 3.0 gear and re-drilled axle flanges to 5 lug.

BRAKES - Fronts are disc brake conversion, rear brakes are 1962 Chevy II drums with modern master cylinder.

SUSPENSION - Front has custom coil springs with gas shocks, rear has custom leaf springs with gas shocks.

WIRING - the headlights and taillights are wired.

GLASS - Front windshield has been replaced, passenger front door replaced, both rear glass have cracks, rear windshield is sheet metal.

TIRES - Recently replaced, has a spare.

BODY - the body is stock, a lot of the floor has been replaced.

Seat is from a 1966 Chevelle, both front windows roll up and down, wiper is a manual lever. We don't have any extra trim or other parts.

Car is sold as is with NO implied warranties, clear Idaho title, NO TRADES! Pick up near Grand View Idaho.
