The front is pointing down in front, the rear is going down in the rear. Part of it is the picture angle.
I think the front clip ended up drooping a bit. Look at the fender to door, even though the hinge is gone.

The hinge isn't gone. It's inside and that way from the factory

What I was trying to convey is the red one I posted has a visible hinge in the area. The one for sale does not have a visible hinge in the area. That's all.
It doesn't have a door handle, side trim or a vent window either, but that's not the area I was trying to focus on. The front fender is molded to the cowl. It looks like it MIGHT be angled a bit tighter toward the bottom, but the hinge is a distraction.
If this is your car or a friend's I wasn't trying to tear down the car, just trying to provide what to me was an answer to skooch's question.
I tried to find a similar angle picture to demonstrate.
What in your opinion is the reason it looks broken?

I went and looked at the ad. After seeing the other pictures, it might be the camera in wide angle setting.
    This looks straight.

    This looks broken again.

The ad also mentions that this is a full fiberglass body, so perhaps it might have a slightly different profile.

I thought it may have been a attempt to get a higher rating in the wind tunnel for better fuel economy.

superair, your budget must be unlimited if you consider those two inexpensive. I guess this thread has gotten a bit out of hand

If you start with a basket case like several of these $5K projects look like, those finished rides in the $12 - $15k may not be out of line, if you don't intend to change much. When you can get a $5K project together through shiny paint for $12-$15K your doing really good these days.

That said, a $5K starter project is not an inexpensive starting point at my house. In fact a $1500 starting point is really pushing it!

I agree, I am also a bargain hunter limited to 4 figures at most.
Would I know that a 1932 roadster with a name builder or a Best Restored ribbon be a deal at 30K? Sure, but even if I was first to the place, I don't have the funds and I don't get a loan and gamble that I can flip it.
Average new car is close to 50K. Average used car is 25K.

We've had small discussions about what is "inexpensive" here before. It's all relative, but I try to keep it under 10K and less than half that normally.

Seriously? I had the same truck as the Chevy in worse shape and sold it for 20k years ago.... Lol. You think 13,5 is expensive for that?!?! Or 15 for the a pickup?!?!

You guys better not check the classifieds here, you'll have a heart attack....

Many of the posts on here are 4-6k for a rust bucket pos! Lmfao.... These are finished drivable vehicles. There's a pos shoebox on here for 6900 that'll take 15k just to turn into anything to rival these! If you do the work yourself.... Way more if not. You call that post out? My shoebox was 14 for a finished car with fresh paint and a built flattie, and other accouterments I won't bother going into. Was that expensive?

Whats a decent paint job cost nowadays? Priced one lately?

We're gonna have to agree to disagree...

For a project, absolutely. I couldn't agree with you more.

For a finished car? Impossible. I posted two finished rides that need nothing. For what they are, I consider these cars inexpensive....I challenge anyone who doesn't to post a finished c10 cheaper... These things run well into the 50s!

I was at a show Saturday that had a nice Chevy pickup, 56, show ready. 25k,amd I thought THAT wasn't bad for what it was...

Seriously yall, check the classifieds here. Find me anywhere NEAR the prices I posted for a good car or truck.

And I'm not saying they're wrong! I HOPE finished car prices skyrocket. Dude down the road was asking an insane price for his house this summer, and I was hoping he'd get it, because it makes my house expensive too...

Matt Armstrong has built a huge following working on cars that are 'inexpensive for what they are'. I hope you aren't going to post quarter million dollar deals.
Please understand that "interesting inexpensive" per the title and "bargain at that price" are different things. That budget varies for each person, but even a millionaire who can afford a large amount is going to have a different view of 'great deal' and 'inexpensive'.

You guys must be friggin kidding me, lmfao.

A finished c10 for 13,5, and you're making comments like hopefully I won't post a quarter million dollar deals? Where the f do you guys live where they give away finished cars? First car on the classifieds here is a 33 Ford for 96k.

If you guys think these are expensive, maybe I am rich! And FYI, nowhere in the thread title does it say projects only....both of these are interesting, and CHEAP for what they are. Period.

You guys go ahead and pay the 32,5 Canadian for the pos chevy on page 83 that doesn't even have a PAINT JOB, and no one said a word about it being expensive....other than me and two other guys. But these two are?!?!? Gimme a break....

Sorry, but in my book of you think that finished Chevy is expensive, you're nuttier than squirrel turds....

And I dunno who Matt Armstrong is, and I don't GAS who he is.....

You live there. Whether buying or fully owned, you are locked in. Great, you might even be able to borrow against it's increased value. However, to insure it will cost more (higher value), if there is property tax, it will go up. If you want to move to another similar house, it will also be more. This is inflation, devaluing each dollar you earn. All so you can brag that your home is worth more. It's called Unrealized Gains for a reason.

Could be a deal, cheap enough but long storage and no title

    condition: fair
    cylinders: 4 cylinders
    drive: rwd

    title status: missing
    transmission: manual
    type: convertible
    odometer broken
1923 Ford Model T 4 door. Housed in a garage near Phoenix since about 1964. Pretty well complete car minus the top. It was probably driven locally in Phoenix until about 1964. It has an electric and hand crank starter. I just transported it here to West Los Angeles last month. Neither my son nor grandson have an interest to restore it. No known title. My father was storing it in Phoenix and passed away in 1966. I never knew about it and I never saw any paper trail on this car. Come and look before you make me an offer. Engine is tired. Must sell. Bring cash and a trailer.

210superair, I wasn't saying they weren't a decent deal, but IMHO this thread as gone off track as to what's inexpensive. As far as insulting remarks go that crap for the most part has ended but for a few exceptions and you seem to be one

I was figuring that it was going to be way more than that. I found some parts that were in Canada I really wanted but wasn’t going to pay tariffs for them, I guess I’ll see if they are still there and get them!

Always dug pro cars. That one is interesting, but I'd want some history on it to make sure it was a real one and not a home built.
