Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by sgtlethargic, Feb 21, 2022.

  1. I just talked with my buddy Marty. he said he would take $1000 for the car. And $300 for the "57 Ford 9"
but only with the car or after the car sells. Thanks, Gene.

I saw it at the swap meet last Sunday (vicky) it is in horrible condition. It looks 1000% better in the pic than it really is.... 2 grand buys a pc of crap these days and that car is rougher than a night in jail....

I guess Moriarity's description of the Vicky pretty much paints a clear picture of it.

I was 5 in '50 and one of my clear memories is leaving my Grannie's house at night headed home. As we crossed the town square and passed the Ford dealership's well lighted showroom there was a new maroon two door on display. It was beautiful but I knew at that age we would never have one. First, It was new. My dad never had a new car. Second my dad was a MOPAR guy. so he didn't need a new car.

I was 7 in 1949, and I remember that everyone was impressed with the new style Fords, even my family. I find it odd, since my dad got a new '49 Oldsmobile that year.

Crap! I haven't been to Montana since '69. Are there still places that are 20 miles apart?

Well, it's 20 miles away, but yeah, it's pretty much solid houses and buildings now on this side of the state (I won't get into the out of stater thing, but I'm seriously considering moving back over to the flat land side where you don't see another person for miles.)
