I don't know if this photo has been on the HAMB before, but I find it interesting..
I was surfing the nett the other week and found this pic.
I like the 32 in the background, but the more I look at the 32 in the foreground, the more I see..
    For example..
    1. Tripple carbs..
    2. Aftermarket heads.
    3. Straight pipes..
    4. A flat tow bar attached at the front.
    5. Split wishbones and altered front ch***is??
    6. Hydraulic brakes?? Later stud pattern?? screen saver.jpg
    6. The rear axle seems to be set forward compared to the body /guard flange..
    7. Rear push bar..
    8. The hood?? on the roof looks very short..
I'm wondering what each guy is working on, (or is it a staged pic for "Thrifty Auto Supply INC"??)
Also what the three guys over the road thinking?? envy perhaps..

Since those don't appear to be drag slicks on the rear, I'm afraid the guys in the picture are preparing to take it out to a dirt track and inflict some serious damage.

The guys in the back wish they were cool.
Looks like they’re changing out the front pumps.

I like these old pics. In my mind they are sizing up the compe***ion for the race that’s about to happen. :)

We had pair of those on our 49 Olds in ‘57, we called them “mud grips “.
