Looking at picking this up as a fun project. Appears to be a model a frame, and the back half looks like a 27 roadster pickup body? But the cowl/door/windshield area is baffling me.

Any thoughts on what this is? I have an 8ba I have been working on that would probably be perfect. Does this look worth investing some time into or should I run away? Thanks for the input.

Model A frame and body made from '26-7 T coupe or sedan. Not too bad looking to me.

  3. The cowl and firewall look to me like a cut down 26-27 T coupe.

Any thoughts on what type of windshield/windshield posts might work on this cowl? Not sure if 27 roadster posts would work or not. Not too keen on what is on there right now.

Looks like a good start if the price is right. Agree on changing that windshield. If it was me, I would try to graft or fabricate something resembling 28-29 roadster cowl post tops, then use 28-29 stanchions and frame, modified if/as needed.

Here's a pic showing cowl post tops:

Thanks for the ideas, frame already has flathead mounts, would i need to box it for strength for a mild flathead?

What does the title say it is? Cool project.

  10. Even with a mild flatty, I would box the frame.

    Real 1970's Texas stuff there.

That looks like the makings of a fun low dollar car. It might be a good thing that it is in Texas rather than closer. I've got everything to go with what's there to make a nice little car out of it.
