I like it a lot! Not a Mustang column, but I could use that steering wheel......

When this magazine hit the stands I was a sophomore in high school and spending every quarter I could get my hands on to buy "little books" like this. I still have the issue of Custom Rodder this roadster appeared in, and just now fished it out of the stacks to take a closer look.

I remember the car well because the fibergl*** nature of the body was mentioned in the short write-up. Even then good roadster bodies were very rare in the Northeast and this car gave me hope that maybe, just maybe, I'd be able to have one someday.

Funny, every time an old but well-remembered hot rod pops up like this, I can remember so clearly the smells and the surroundings of the time when I first saw it in a magazine. This one is no different. I am so glad the current owners have chosen to keep it in it's 1962 configuration.

Yep, look at the pods the taillights are mounted on...........the Almquist bodies had those. I remember seeing a lot of pictures of those bodies in their catalogs and ads back then. I don't think I have actually seen one of their bodies that made it to the street though, very cool to see.

Nice lines on this one. Don't know about that modern "Bill Lear" sound system! ;)
