I found a old pack of Lucky Strike smokes in the header panel of my 1939 ford pickup. un opened. They were in the middle of a rats nest up there they are in ok shape. I think I am going to try to make a shift nub out of them. Make a mold and some clear resin. Good luck charm.

I found a weird, glass straw with a red spoon on the bottom of it. A glass crack pipe? It was in the trunk of my stock model A I just bought.

My wife reminded of an incident I tried to forget. We were visiting her aunt's house, the first time I ever met her aunt. I went to check out an old VW Beetle and when I opened the deck lid I found HUGE nest full of pissed off flying buzzing insects. I didn't stick around long enough to figure out if it was wasps or hornets.

  13. my buddy's dad ran a crappy old junkyard and we used to go out there and break windows and stuff. found alot of porn and change. i found a nickel plated 44 mag in an old dodge van. his dad took it from me. probably was a good thing!

years later at a stereo shop i worked at we would "prep" cars for the local police auction. they brought in a 88 honda accord that was a pastel purple.
i was capping a bunch of bare wires when i saw some money stashed down under the carpet where it was cut out around the shifter. turns out it was 680.00 in 20's!! cha ching!!

Today when I was taking my bumper gaurds off the rear bumper I found one of those plastic easter eggs inside of it. I shook it and excpted it to have old candy or change in it, but it had a nail in it. I guess someone wanted to kill there kids? My friend has a early 90's Geo Storm. We took it out to go hill jumping one day after it had sat for a few months. A few mils down the road I feel something rubbing aigaist my leg. I look down and there are about three snakes slithering around on the floor board!!!! I jumed out real fast! Screaming and cussing the whole time. We got his dad to shoot all of the snakes that were in it so we could get it back to his house. Has a few drain holes now and I have a few brown and yellow stains in my underware!

When I Got My 58 Ford The Front Seat Was Pretty Worn Out When We Replace It Change Fell Out The More We Kick It The More Came Out About 70.00 Dollers Worth

  21. Just thought of one. I took a 69 442 apart once and there were wax "Coca Cola" cups from the GM concession stand on top of the front springs up in the frame. The ones that had the little turqoise colored stars & verticle pinstripes on them. Guess they ran out of spring insulators and folded up some cups & slapped up in there.

I bought an 86 grand marquis for 1500 bucks from an insurance company. It had been one of thier company vehicles that the salesman drove the hell out of. The glove box door was jammed and forced it open with a screwdriver, and (you guessed it) a bank envelope with 10 fresh 50's in it. I needed it too, cause that car turned out to be a POS:eek:

I found a set of partials from someone with a busted smile in a plymouth minivan practice car at wyotech, A bracelet with tiki men carved from sort of bone in my aunts 62 vw bug, and a "memo from the desk of homocide investigations" in my 59 pontiac. Change is always a given. Oh and in the minivan was what could only be described as the vaporized bits of an owel.

  29. Water. Lots of it. Seems some '62 Corvairs, if parked fwd on at a slight incline, like to flood when it rains. Best way to check for this is to just climb in and stick your foot right in that 2/12" puddle resting in the floorpan. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from but it made a great rain gauge. Sure, maybe it's not a dead body, but it was interesting at the time.

Some friends bought an 80's Caprice at a police auction for $60 just to drive and demolish. It had "Homicide" written in police chalk on the window. And had about 8 bullet holes on the roof, hood, and driver's door panel. Had a whole wardrobe of rip-off brand clothing in the trunk and a search warrant for fibers, hair, and black gloves under the front floor mat. Sad thing is that the stereo and speakers were worth more than the car! We were never sure what happened in/with that car, but the whole bad karma thing kept me far away from that car.
