1952-59 Ford Interior bezels

    Anyone here have any advise on how to clean cruddy white corrosion off of the trim and bezels on the dash and such. -55 Customline- Thanks for any info guys!

    The white corrosion is the base metal showing through the chrome. If you can't find secondhand good ones just try to clean yours up the best you can. Once you've cleaned them spray them WD40 to try and slow the corrosion returning.
    You'll find good ones on epay if you just keep looking.

    1. try using "evaporust - get it at autozone, o'riellys, etc
    great stuff
    wont hurt plastic rubber, chrome, etc
    I cleaned mine with it, polished with "0000" steel wool, filled the holes with model car "chrome" paint and clear-coated them to keep corrosion away. you can also use
    "marine" chrome polish.
    2. blue lightning.com has great products too. use there metal prep on chrome as directed and polish with steel wool , then use their "blue magic" chrome polish. also have Killer rust products
    that really work
