Wanted to see what you guys are using for muffler wrap? S/steel, fiberglass? Trying to reduce interior heat.

Thank you for comments/opinions in Advance.

Exhaust/header wrap can trap moisture and lead to rust on steel, so be cautious. You'd be surprised what some thin aluminum heat shields spaced off the exhaust tubing can do for heat deflection. Also thermal insulation on underside of floor/firewall, as well as under the carpet will make a big difference.

I have the floor and interior insulated, the mufflers are directly under the floor pan, (Model A Coupe), thank you for the suggestions.

Put a heat shield on the floor. Wrap is fine for race cars that receive a lot of maintenance.

The nascar guy use heat shield material developed by NASA.
    Look for used pieces.

I wouldn't wrap the pipes. Summitt sells heat shield material you can apply under the car like they use on corvettes.
