Need some help My ol Mainline is lacking the rear seat side panels, so i am going to make some, but it looks like the is a trim piece missing, where it meets the door, like a piece to hold the windlace. anyone have any photos of the factory panels or something that one has come up with

Hey Lanny.... those panels are real easy to make. Check out my 53 album pics. If you have an upholstery shop near buy, stop in and ask about what is needed, I'm sure they will be happy to supply you with all that is needed. I did both doors, kick panels, and rear panels in less than one afternoon. I used cloth, vinyl, high density foam backing, and moisture resistant back paneling and spray adhesive and a bit of imagination.

Hey Geno! How about a road map to the little how-to story you did on this some time back. Pix might help.
