Great lookin car and I do like the style of the door panel, not sure what see foam is, maybe a thinner foam and less dense foam?

You may have to take the door panel off and remove the staples down the side of the door where the latch is located,,trim the foam and reattach everything.

You may also just need to loosen up the latch some to the point where the door will close and compact the foam,,in a few weeks put the latch in the correct position and it possibly will work without taking the panel apart. HRP

Yeah it's puffy. Got looking at it and the caravan seat has a round stock frame at the bottom that's a bit wide. Just a small mod to the seat will fix it. I'm not real tall so the seat is a bit forward than most people have them. Keep ya posted

Damn fine job for your first attempt; small pleats are labor-intensive!

My wife and I have done some interior work and I like seeing someone else taking on a job like yours. I am planning on putting a full interior and top on my '29 special coupe when I get to that point. Looks great and I am looking forward to seeing the headliner go into it. Have you done the seats yet? I love the silver piping on the door panels.

The chip does look a bit darker. Haven't done the seats yet. And the piping is plastic covered Mylar type stuff. Thanks here is another pic of the car. Waiting on my Almquist carb adapter yet ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1380563405.527701.jpg
