I purchased an interior trim screw kit from Concourse Parts but they have no illustration of which goes where. I am guessing that one does not exist but just in case thought I would ask. Anyone know of such info?

Remove and replace is the only sure fire way I think.

I think some of the garnish was installed on the spot at the factory and they may have drilled holes at that time. Due to the tolerances of everything, I would say there is no chart to go by. I bought the box for my '59, think it had 70 pieces in it. If I came up short, I used some old stuff or bought what I needed at 25 of this and that. I did have some leftovers.

Probably the only 100% accurate way would be to get a trim and sealant manual, go thru every page that shows ***embly of interior components make note of Ford part numbers/screw descriptions, plan on wasting a week or so. Who ever put that kit together (I bought several) at one time or another had to have done that......or dis***embled an untouched car making note of all the screws as they went. Hope they were paid by the hour.
I'm with the trial and error fit group. Those screws, btw have smaller than normal heads.......something like #8 screws with #6 heads??

They are peculiar to the Fords pretty much. I bought some extras on eBay in small packages. I have the trim and sealant manual for my car, I'll see if it breaks down the hardware. Obsourne makes the books and I got mine on eBay. If you have the old screws they clean up pretty well since they are stainless.

I did order a trim and sealant manual but have not recd yet. I have bags with all of the fasteners and where they came from but not necessarily which ones go where, so I will manage some guidance.

When I was installing all the interior trim in the Ranch Wagon I just took a few original screws to ACE Hardware and cross matched them in stainless,as well as I recall I purchased 3 boxes of 100,have enough left over for future projects and probably have less than 25 bucks invested. HRP

I have to go back to Ace and take a look, I saw some but they didn't have the rounded head like the Ford screws. I have a few bags of 25 that I got on evilBay so I'm probably good for a while.
